A Hidden Resource in Plain Sight

Logistics centers generate massive daily volumes of residual biomass:

These materials are currently considered costs — removal costs, treatment costs, landfill costs. With a Haffner Energy module installed on site, they become a local energy raw material, transformed into syngas, hydrogen, electrical and thermal energy — without transportation, without intermediaries, and without dependence on the grid.


On-Site Produced Hydrogen for the Fleet

Major logistics operators (Amazon, Geodis, FM Logistic, ID Logistics) operate massive fleets of:

Today, the hydrogen for these fleets is produced elsewhere, compressed, transported by tanker, and delivered on site — a costly, dependent, and emitting supply chain. A Haffner module on the warehouse site eliminates this chain entirely: hydrogen is produced locally from the site’s own waste, at less than €2/kg without subsidies.


The Decisive Advantage of the 2 MW Module: Standard Road Transport

A 2 MW Haffner C-iC module can be transported on ordinary roads, without exceptional convoy. It fits everywhere — warehouse access, peripheral industrial zones, rural areas. It installs in less than a month on an existing concrete slab, without foundations or building permits.

For a logistics operator managing 50 warehouses in France, this means progressive, autonomous deployment, site by site, without dependence on a centralized construction project.

The Transition to Hydrogen Transport

European regulations (Euro 7, 2030 CO₂ targets) are pushing logistics operators toward decarbonized heavy transport. Hydrogen is the only viable solution for long distances and heavy loads — batteries do not offer the required range or fast charging capacity.

A logistics hub equipped with Haffner modules naturally becomes a hydrogen production and distribution station for its own fleet and for partner carriers in the area. This multi-energy hub (electricity, heat, hydrogen, biochar) transforms a cost center into an energy profit center.
